Response Alert is a medical alert system company devoted to the placement and care of personal emergency response systems (PERS) for your loved ones. Our mission is to provide security and peace of mind to seniors and their families by providing a means to receive help in a fall or emergency. A medical alert system enables seniors to retain their independence of living at home and can prevent long hospital stays or nursing home admissions. We have provided personalized care and reliable service to thousands of clients, achieving our goals of providing those clients and their families with safety and peace of mind. Response Alert is a family-owned and operated company that was originally a division of the M. Sauer Company.
Our History
1976
The M. Sauer Company was established to provide home security systems.
1981
The company widened its safety and security services and established the Response Alert division to provide medical alert systems to the elderly and infirm.
2010
Response Alert was split off as its own entity to focus solely on providing medical alert systems services while still being owned and operated by the same family.
2015
Response Alert began providing medical alert systems to Medicaid clients.
2018
Response Alert expanded to include domestic violence victims as alert systems beneficiaries.
2023
Response Alert added Environmental Assessment services.
2023
Response Alert expanded to provide alert systems for lone workers.
